Updated October 5, 2026. Nickerson Beach Campground is at 880 Lido Boulevard in Lido Beach. Nassau County lists the season as April through November and requires reservations. Contact 516-571-7700 in season or 516-933-4444 in winter for availability, rules and reservations.
2026 campsite fees
- Sewer, water and electric: $47 per night for Nassau County residents; $72 for non-residents
- Water and electric: $39 for residents; $64 for non-residents
- Dumping fee: $9
- Late fee: $29 per day

Important RV rules
- Tents are not permitted on RV sites. Floorless screen rooms are permitted.
- One passenger vehicle is included at each RV site. One additional parking pass may be purchased at the prevailing daily rate.
- Check-in is 1:00 p.m.; check-out is 11:00 a.m.
- Campground roads are one-way and the speed limit is 5 mph.
- Vehicles may not enter the campground after 9:00 p.m.; special events can cause an earlier closure.
- Quiet time begins at 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- No fireworks, ground fires, dumping of wastewater on the ground or unattended pets.
- Nassau County states that campground reservations are nonrefundable and may not be sublet.
Pets and other fees
Pets require licenses and vaccination records, must remain on a leash no longer than six feet and may be walked only around the campground perimeter or in the dog park. Pets are not allowed on the beach, dunes, cabana area or playground. Pool use and pitch-and-putt are not included with a campground reservation.
