Not only are there campgrounds, but there are long term RVs. Yes, seriously right here in Long Island, you can basically camp on the beach and sleep with the sound of the ocean just outside your tent. Do you know anywhere else that you can camp on the beach?
74 Sites for RVs and 13 for tents. Usually these fill up quick so get your request in early. But honestly, it’s supposed to be one of the closest campgrounds to the beach.
